Brasília's events scene is dense but uneven: well-funded events get visibility, smaller and grassroots ones don't, leaving both organizers and attendees with a fragmented, unequal experience of what's actually happening in the city.
The design problem wasn't listing events, plenty of platforms do that. It was building something that gave a grassroots poetry night the same shot at visibility as a major festival, without just becoming another feed people scroll past.
I designed Logali as a mobile app built around personalized, algorithm-driven recommendations and social proof, showing users which events their friends are attending. This does two things at once: it surfaces smaller events to people likely to actually care about them, and it uses social context to make discovery feel less like browsing and more like being invited.
Logali gives smaller organizers a realistic path to visibility that doesn't depend on ad spend, while giving attendees a more personal way to find events worth their time.
