Hi, I'm João Victor! I've spent the last 9 years figuring out how to make complicated things feel simple, first in advertising, then fully in product design.
I like projects that people usually find intimidating. A banking dashboard with 100+ legacy products. A nonprofit site that's losing donors and nobody knows why. The kind of work where you have to dig before you can design anything.
I moved to Dublin to work closer to that kind of challenge, in teams that treat design as more than a final coat of paint. When I'm not deep in Figma, I'm probably building some kind of automation that saves me time later or arguing that a feature really doesn't need to be as complicated as everyone thinks.
Experience
I've had the privilege of working with companies and clients in both agency environments and as a freelancer. I thrive on collaborating with those who truly value the impact of thoughtful and effective design.

AI as a tool, not a shortcut
I build automation agents that save real hours every month. I use AI to move faster, not to skip the thinking.
Technical enough to ship alone
WordPress, hosting, DNS, SSL. I don't need to wait on a developer to get something live.
